The DofE is many things to many people, supporting generations to successfully navigate adult life.The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE) gives young people the chance to do something completely new, taking them out of their comfort zone and into a place where they’ll push themselves and have amazing new experiences.
The DofE was designed to challenge young people between the ages of 14-24 to attain standards of achievement and endeavour in a wide variety of active interests – to serve their communities, experience adventure and to develop and learn outside the classroom.
A DofE Award also looks good on your CV and can be useful when applying for educational courses and jobs.
