Some of our pupils will speak English as an additional language because their home language is different. We are keen to support pupils who may be developing their English as an additional language and work with the Local Authority EAL service to ensure that students access the right level of support. We also can access support from our own commission speech and language therapy service so support students in learning English when they may also have general difficulties with developing speaking and listening skills.
