Dear Parents
We are nearly at the end of the year and looking forwards to a bright and sunny summer. As with many young people our students will enjoy the free time and enjoy spending their time in the online world. It is important to set up parental controls and adjust privacy settings to provide your child with a safer online environment. Parental controls can help to protect your child from seeing something that they shouldn’t — although it is important to emphasise that no system is effective all of the time, so it is important to engage with your child and talk to them about their online life regularly.
We offer free training courses to all parents that will help you with making the right choices for you and your child. Click the link below and if you have a Microsoft or Google email logging in is as simple as a single click.

We are so proud at Alt Bridge to have achieved the Silver level Philosophy for Children (P4C) award with SAPHERE. We embarked on this journey around four years ago, introducing P4C across the curriculum over time. The results have been amazing in supporting our students to develop and apply their thinking skills. Our teachers are all trained in delivering P4C lessons which enables us to use the approach to deepen each child’s learning experience. We are delighted to receive this award and have enjoyed working with Julie McCann (SAPHERE trainer) who has provided her expert guidance and support over time.
