World Foods 2:

Through research activities and focused practical tasks pupils develop the skills needed to create food from different countries around the world.

Unit 3: World Foods 2 - Carrying on with the exploration of World Foods, pupils researched Chinese cuisine in order to develop an understanding of the different styles of cooking and types of dishes that are produced in China. Developing from their research they will learn the skills in order to successfully produce spring rolls and vegetable stir fry.<<

Year-9 Spring Term

Unit4: World Foods 3 - Carrying on with the exploration of World Foods, pupils researched Mexican cuisine in order to develop an understanding of the different styles of cooking and types of dishes that are produced in Mexico. They will specifically research the typical herbs and spices that are used in Mexican cuisine. Developing from their research they will learn the skills in order to successfully produce Fajitas, corn bread and chilli-con-carne.
